For outstanding performance of duty while assigned as Chief, Systems Division, Sixth United States Army Data Processing Center, Presidio of San Francisco, California, during the period 11 July 1968 to 10 June 1970. Through his unremitting efforts andmeticulous devotion to duty, Lieutenant Crifasi consistently overcame all obstacles to provide support to headquarters, Sixth United StatesArmy, and the Command. His imagination and foresight coupled with an aggressive, but mature, professional approach in accomplishing critically important assignments won for him high praise from superiors and subordinates alike. His bearing, imaginative leadership and expert management of resources were profoundly inspiring to his Division. Lieutenant Crifasi's professional competence and outstanding achievements are in keeping with the highest tradition of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
